PET reycle
How PET Recycling Works
The mechanical recycling process follows five main steps to convert waste into resource:

Collection: Consumers drop bottles into recycling bins or automated reverse vending machines.

Sorting: Recycling facilities sort plastics by resin type (#1) and color using optical scanners.

Shredding: The sorted plastic is crushed and sliced into tiny pieces called PET flakes.

Washing: Flakes go through intense washing to remove dirt, leftover liquids, and paper labels.

Pelletizing: Clean flakes are melted down and formed into tiny plastic pellets ready for manufacturing.
